 Hello there, i am writing this little  note, so that you can place my musings in a wider social context.

I am a young woman, i was born and bred in england.  My heritage is in the english speaking caribbean.  I care passionately about my community and the african diaspora at large. i feel that  my community needs to be more active to tackle the issues that we face even if they do not affect us. I have never picked up a weapon  and thought to maim or kill, there are people in my community in the inner cities that do…  nothing exists in isolation so we must find solutions.

I care about women, from around the world and  i want our struggles to be represented, i am talking about female genital mutilation, forced marriage, rape,opression, domestic violence and the like.

I care about men, I respect real men , however i am a young woman and cannot say that i understand them so i can only view them from the outside perspective of being a woman.
